Giambattista Valli uses Josephine de Beauharnais, Napoleon Bonaparte’s wife of only five years, as a muse for the AW23 season. Part of the lineup, this pink and red dress is cut from swaths of floral-print silk georgette with a ruffled and leg-baring asymmetric hem that undercuts the demure long-sleeve silhouette.
